Nursing Professional Development

In response to the mandates to conduct research on best practices and quality outcomes and to develop a plan for implementing strategies to recruit and retain nurses, the Center has reimagined it’s program structure to include nursing professional development.  Nursing professional development ensures lifelong learning for licensed nurses to be prepared to provide evidence-based, safe, quality patient care.  The nursing professional development arm of the Center focuses on continuing nursing education, faculty development, simulation education, evidence-based practice, and writing for publication.
